Ralph Landau

Created by Mary Mark Ockerbloom ( talk). Self nominated at 20:41, 10 October 2014 (UTC).

:* This article is a very thorough explanation of why Mr. Landau was considered such an important figure in his initial profession o chemical engineering. The nomination is new enough, long enough, and meets Wikipedia policies. The base hook (which I prefer)is accurate and supported with an in-line citation, especially the article about him In Transmutations (ref. 9). The image seems to meet Wikipedia requirements. It is not in the public domain, but according to Wikipedia Commons, it has been downloaded with premission from the Chemical Heritage Foundation, whose staff photographer made the picture (and for whom the article author works). If this is acceptable under Wikipedia policies, I support proceeding with the DYK using the base hook. Bruin2 ( talk) 17:43, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
