John Smith Zink

  • ... that Jack Zink was a mechanical engineer and business executive who was also noted for his car racing and philanthropic activities?

  • In general this looks great. Long enough, new enough, well-written and cited. The hook checks out fine. ALT1 is best. My only concern is with the article's title. I don't think the current title follows WP:TITLE. It ought to be either John Smith Zink or Jack Zink. I think probably the latter. If this can be rectified, this is good to go. • Hi Relentlessly. As I've noted previously, John Smith Zink's father was John Steele Zink, who was a notable Oklahoman in his own right. The best way to distinguish between them in an article of this sort is to use the full legal names. I haven't done enough research on the father to know whether he was also called "Jack" informally. Thus, I'd like to go with the John Smith Zink title for this author. Is there a consensus for this? Thanks. Bruin2 ( talk) 04:04, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Now the article is called "Jack Zink". George Ho ( talk) 17:25, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
  • With that sorted, this is good to go. I said above that ALT1 was best, but that was an error: I actually prefer the original hook. Obviously I've also corrected the hooks to point to the new page name. Relentlessly ( talk) 18:03, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
