Too much of this article was copied from a pre-existing article for it to qualify for DYK at present; as noted below, this can qualify for DYK if it becomes a GA and is nominated within seven days of being listed.
... that, by 1945,
Hitler had more than
RM 40 million available annually to spend on presents to the Nazi elite, among them high-ranking Wehrmacht officers?
This is a well written and fascinating article. However, it does not qualify for DYK per
Rule A5, since an estimated 7642 characters of text was copied from the previously-created
Nazism and the Wehrmacht per
this edit. The copied text must be expanded fivefold as if the copied text had been a separate article, to make a total of about 38,210 characters. The present article stands at 15,322 characters. I suggest that you nominate it for GA and re-nominate it here when you receive that icon. Best,

My apologies, I was not aware of this rule.

Please do get this onto the main page via GA. It's indeed a fascinating article, which I think for many people adds a startling new dimension to Nazi Germany. EEng 11:49, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
