I’m more concerned about another reason for deletion: do you have something that establishes notability? Because I can’t seem to find anything based on a cursory look. FortunateSons ( talk) 21:00, 10 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Potential deletion due to lack of notability

I believe that she does not meet the definition for notability. Does someone disagree? FortunateSons ( talk) 21:00, 10 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Sure, a Greek Melkite Catholic Arab-Israeli woman, who has worked in the Knesset, written critically of the bias against women in Arab parties, and had an important study on Palestinian women published under a major American University imprint, one whose works are translated into other languages, such as Italian, and who had an Italian wiki bio, just comes under our radar as insignificant. I’m happy to have it closed as snow if you can find enough to indisputably meet the notability requirements. FortunateSons ( talk) 11:46, 18 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Hello,
To start, I would like to say that as an Arab-Israeli adviser to a Knesset member, as well as an established academic source on Palestinian women's political experiences in Israel, Suheir Abu Oksa Daoud is both a political figure and a known writer. Her articles and book are referenced by several other established scholars in the field, and her book has been highlighted in the Middle East Journal as a "pioneering study." I believe her academic contributions (as well as the acknowledgement of them in the field), journalistic contributions (such as to Middle East Eye), and her political past in the Knesset fulfill the notability requirements.
