Otto's Dates

All records of Otto can be updated, because the birth records of Braunau am Inn have been digitised and he really was born 17 Jun 1892 and died 23 Jun 1892. The baptism/birth record is available here for free on the third line: https://data.matricula-online.eu/cs/oesterreich/oberoesterreich/braunau-am-inn/106%252F1892/?pg=10, although it is obviously a primary source. The German Wikipedia has already changed its details. Also here is Adolf's birth record if it would be of interest: https://data.matricula-online.eu/cs/oesterreich/oberoesterreich/braunau-am-inn/103%252F03/?pg=176

You are perfectly alright, and I have really tried this in late 2020. But unfortunately the authorities on Hitler haven't issued statements on this. And they won't, why would they? Case closed, nothing to add, the topic a bit embarrassing for them and they have other projects to work on. Therefore some users will block correcting this information in pharisaic interpretation of the rules, and will keep doing so forever. -- KnightMove ( talk) 09:22, 13 February 2023 (UTC) reply

@ SmallJarsWithGreenLabels: If it's only about reliable secondary sources, those which have taken over the corrected dates of Otto Hitler do well exist, for example the book about Hitler's father by Austrian historian de:Roman Sandgruber. Long before that, the correction had been accepted and reported by reliable media like the German Spiegel. The footnote added in fanatism to discredit the new information "In 2016, Florian Kotanko, a Braunau am Inn headmaster with an interest in local history but no expertise in the subject, claimed that Otto Hitler was born on June 17, 1892 – after Adolf Hitler's birth – and then died six days later from hydrocephalus, a swelling of the brain. This was reported in Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten (Upper Austrian News), a local newspaper, and the report was picked up by Reuters, but has not been circulated by other news sources, nor have their been scholarly papers confirming the new date." is one of the wildest violations of Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:Verifiability you will find in here. If you could help in repairing this, I would be very grateful. -- KnightMove ( talk) 13:21, 24 February 2023 (UTC) reply

Eva Barbara Fegelein

I think there is something wrong (completely on English Wikipedia) about the year of Eva Barbara's death - everywhere on English Wikipedia is written that she died (commited suicide) in 1971, while all Internet sources say that she died in 1975. Johanna Pölzl, "Hanni-Tante"

Hello,

the sister of Hitler's mother is not mentioned. She was disabled. I read, that she was hunchbacked and a difficult person. I have heard about that Hitler disliked disabled people because of his experiences with Johanna Pölzl. 2003:F1:1734:E033:7DAD:6B1C:AFE9:57C9 ( talk) 03:17, 18 September 2023 (UTC) reply
