There is a bit of a dispute on the damage. I claim it's $5 billion, per Approximately $1.5 billion of the $5 billion in damage caused by Allison came from the Medical Center.

here, also the storm in total did $8.5 billion, including damage in numerous other states. The sources claim $5 billion in Texas, but
LightandDark2000 says it did $8.5 billion. Some sources say it only did $5 billion, but that's not accurate either. It's reasonable to assume it did $3.5 billion across the rest of the nation. --
