The section on tourism and travel is a mess.
Compare the statement
"the term allocentric traveler refers to a traveler who is an extroverted venturer. This is contrasted with the term psychocentric traveler who is dependable, less adventurous, and cautious."
and
"Female allocentric travelers were found to be more neurotic and less extraverted than psychocentric travelers.[52]"
If an allocentric (by definition extroverted) traveller is less extroverted than a psychocentric traveller, there must be something wrong here either with the research, the quote or the categories.
And what on earth is 'horizontally individualistic' in the following? Perhaps it refers to people who enjoy lying down in unconventional positions?
"American and Japanese college students who reported being more horizontally individualistic tended to prefer more allocentric destinations.[53]"
This all needs checking and rewriting.
