- Comment. Please see the comment made by S. Rich at Talk:Alexander_D._Henderson_(businessman)#Notability it becomes the question of whether things should be included if it can only be located on primary source government records. There's such records in government records for ANYBODY that's been married or been in the service, however if such records are the only things that even talk about it, adding the contents solely based off of that is a due weight matter. If a newspaper article in the journalist's own writing identifies the record, that's one thing, but if an Wikipedia editor locates the primary source record and match the name to article subject person, that is doing WP:OR by interpreting primary source on their own. What I am saying is that if primary sources, or crummy sources like Familysearch and Findgrave are the only sources that include that information, then we seriously ought to consider omitting those information. The primary concern is that many of these Henderson and Ford articles appear to have the framework based on that Henderson Family Tree website and simply trying to cobble together sources to fit around the contents you desire to include. - Graywalls, I'm trying to AGF, however the recent lapse back to COI editing was disappointing to see. Especially since some good, productive work was done in the meantime.
- Primary sources should be avoided. It is unclear if some of the recent edit requests are being made just to add the names of grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles or children and are not really relevant to the biography itself. As discussed previously, WP is not a genealogy website, that is what sites like Ancestry.com, MyHeritage, OneGreatFamily, LegacyTree and others are for. Another option is for the editor has to record his ancestry and lower-quality links to own website: Henderson Family Tree website which already exists.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and biographic articles do not need to include every bit of minutia or trivial mention out there. There already have been several errors introduced into more than one article by cobbling together bits and pieces from FamilySearch and FindGrave.
- Some details could be simply added to the infobox, and do not need lengthy prose. For example, IMO it's enough that the info box says 2 children. If he was married more than once, it's enough that the infobox lists two spouses. It is not necessary to to include the month and year and place where he was married and divorced (see edit requests below.) WP:NOTGENEALOGY. There is no reason to include a family tree in this article. Greg, you have done some great work on Wikipedia, but please refrain from using the encyclopedia as a venue for your family geneaology. There have been many discussions about this over the years involving multiple editors and notice boards. Please use one of the ancestry sites for this type of information, such as Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org or your own personal Henderson geneaology website. Best regards,

I have not used it on any articles until Nigej brought it to my attention. I do not see the harm in using it, however, I will defer to your judgement.
