Iran's country code was "IRN" until 1988; is it possible to change this and other codes of Iran prior 1988 from "IRI" to "IRN"?

Hi. A couple days ago I've done a review to GA of the spanish version of this FA. It surprise me the low amount of text, and I can see almost the same problems that es:WP.

This is a featured list not a featured article; both have different sets of criteria. And as I said, 20 lines in a table is not enough for a list alone. Wikipedia:Featured list criteria#Comprehensiveness: (b) In length and/or topic, it meets all of the requirements for stand-alone lists; does not violate the content-forking guideline, does not largely duplicate material from another article, and could not reasonably be included as part of a related article. It is very reasonable to include, since half of the table is already in main article. Merging both increase value of first, since this one as you say is "limitated" and has nothing else to offer.
