Welcome to WikiProject Iran, a
WikiProject that aims to collaboratively improve Wikipedia's articles related to
Iran. If you are interested in participating in this important and ambitious task, we encourage you to join our board of editors by adding your name to the

This project covers the creation, expansion and curation of articles related to Iran, its cantons, geography, history, economy, politics, society, people, culture and spirit. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Iran in a fair and accurate manner. The project also serves as a centralized point of discussion for issues pertaining to Iran in Wikipedia.
Scope & Statistics
As of 19 April 2024, there are 72,821 articles within the scope of WikiProject Iran, of which 24 are
featured and 169 are
good articles. This makes up 1.07% of the articles on Wikipedia, 0.22% of all featured articles and lists, and 0.43% of all good articles. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 183,200 pages in the project.
