I added citation, rm some unsourced info. It does appear to be coming sometime. I think there are more citations out there that can back it up. It does need some work, and yes, a bit premature, but reliable sources claim it is going to happen. If someone wants to AFD it to get more discussion, that is fine, but I don't think a csd or prod would apply here. PHARMBOY ( moo) ( plop) 18:40, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
This article may violate WP:CRYSTAL because it is just in the early development stage. I suggest it be merged into it's own section on the Yogi Bear article.-- Snowman Guy ( talk) 15:08, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I found these here images from the internet. Think they're the real deal? 24.45.36.73 ( talk) 22:41, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Are you really sure that Cindy Bear will be in the film? All the trailers don't show her, and I have heard nothing about her being in the film? -- Hoppybunny ( talk) 04:42, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
The film hasn't been released yet and there are so few critic reports available as yet that Rotten Tomatoes signals "no consensus". I've removed what I think is a premature report on critical reception. This will change quickly so we can update over the weekend. -- TS 17:03, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Originally slated for mid-June 2010 premier, the release was pushed to December 17, 2010. - Is this significant? Why not just put it in the movie box? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Booboo cam ( talk • contribs) 02:16, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
I've tried to correct the sentence to clarify that only [Dan Aykroyd]], and Justin Timberlake voices are used but Sjones23 keeps deleting it. I think
"The film stars the voices of Dan Aykroyd, and Justin Timberlake with cast members Tom Cavanagh, Anna Faris, T. J. Miller, Nate Corddry, and Andrew Daly."
is accurate and the sentence should be corrected to show this.

Sequel Does anyone think the makers of the first film will really make a sequel to Yogi Bear? They announced the director in 2012, but other than that, nothing else has surfaced. It's almost like the Ghostbusters franchise where it took them 2 decades and a half to try and produce a potential third film, but you know what became of that unnecessary nonsense. Anyway, I get the feeling the second film is either in development hell or may never be made. Why do sequels always have to take so long, SO LONG, to be made? It should only take 2-5 years, maybe 10, years tops. No more. Hollywood enjoys making people desperate when it comes to sequels/prequels, or should I say follow-ups to films. It does not have to be this way. It's been almost six years since Yogi Bear and I say it's time we get more details about number 2. Marino13 ( talk) 05:30, 9 September 2016 (UTC) |
Re this edit: "Since 2012, no new information or development has surfaced."
This claims that there has been no information or news about the proposed project. While I will accept that you, as an individual, are unaware of any new information, this is not the same thing. It is entirely possible that there has been news (cancelled, pushed back, whatever) and you simply haven't heard about it. - SummerPhD v2.0 20:20, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
