26.06.07: Hanatarashi/Hanatarash should maybe be merged.. these are the same project and the name hanatarashi/hanatarash is used interchangably by collectors of the records/cassettes. - wodnerduck

10.11.07: Hanatarash is the name used for releases after a certain period (say 1988/87 or so) when Eye changed the name. This doesn't mean anything as far as music goes (Hanatarash 3 was just a half-assed compilation of Hanatarashi period stuff) The only reason I seperated them was that I thought it'd make finding the releases easier, although as you say the name is usually interchangeable. But it's still useful to know which were released under the old or new name for collectors and such. Anyway do what you want with it, I'm just saying. - Jimbobbil 90.205.4.71 ( talk) 13:49, 10 November 2007 (UTC) reply

rename to Yamataka Eye?

He seems to be using this name exclusively now. -- Jonathan Williams ( talk) 23:28, 8 May 2008 (UTC) reply

id like to add to the Hanatarash(i) discography, im Andy Bolus (Evil Moisture), last year was released Evil Moisture/Hanatarash "Fatanarchy On Airtube" collaborative cd on Harbinger. It will be reissued as a double LP sometime soon.

Turntablist ??

Seems an odd designation, to say the least. If someone uses a rubber band to make a sound for a performance are they a "rubberbandist"? If they manipulate tapes are they a "tapist"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.92.174.105 ( talk) 22:14, 27 November 2012 (UTC) reply
