Does anyone know what the "Pre-release cover version" thing is all about? The article doesn't explain it. 50.191.25.59 ( talk) 02:32, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Is she Swiss or Hungarian or...? I don't mean ethnicity, more like citzenship, for classification purposes (as in - which of the Category:Internet celebrities by nationality subcategories should she go to?). -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:40, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
I recently removed a whole bunch of material from this article which I did not think was encyclopedic or reliably sourced, these changes have been reverted by 123.254.172.199. I note that the IP states in this edit summary that the photo previously displayed on the article was their own work, and was uploaded by them. But the original uploader of that image was Maggie.7537, who also declared themselves as the article subject's mother. This appears to be a continuation of the earlier COI editing problem that has plagued this article for a while.
@ 123.254/172.199:, if you have a close connection to Venus Palermo, please read this and this information about editing with a conflict of interest and using wikipedia for promotion. I'm perfectly happy to see neutral editors restore some of the material I removed (in fact I note that softlavender has previously salvaged some useful stuff, thanks for that), but I do not think that's what's happening here. OK, we've given Maggie.7537 and Margo.P (Venus's mother and her new sockpuppet) enough rope, and she has hung herself. She has created an article on herself, and has posted reams of unencyclopedic material on this Venus article, has edit-warred, and has used multiple accounts (those two, plus at least one IP, and possibly also at least one other account that has edited both of those articles and is either another sock or a meatpuppet). It's time to report her. The question is, which venue: COIN, or ANI (and/or SPI)? She's definitely not here to build an encyclopedia. Anyway, I pose the question to the community here which venue to choose, and if anyone files a thread, please notify us here. Thank you. Softlavender ( talk) 01:51, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Anything that mentions this is constantly reverted because of no reliable sources. Is the youtube channel itself good? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2620:101:F000:702:B15C:E3D8:F783:A6F3 ( talk) 07:53, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Venus has had several controversies in the past, including her fallout with her Mom etc. I can't find any solid sources for this, but when I can, I'm going to add the content. Just letting you know. FiendYT ★ 21:24, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
I do not agree with moving this article to Venus Angelic. She is not notable for her YouTube stuff; the only reason she has an article is because she passes WP:MUSICBIO#C2 for her release of I Don't Care, and that was released under the name Venus Palermo.-- Laun chba ller 00:49, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
I've seen pages with much more depth, sources and information get deleted. Why does this page exist? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.229.76 ( talk) 08:19, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
The information is sourced and previous removals have not provided any reliable sources contradicting this claim. I have restored this content again, personal opinion or original research about this information are not valid reasons to delete sourced content without sufficient explanation. There's no reliable source that she and Manaki actually divorced. 2806:263:C480:400:2473:47CC:D25:D26A ( talk) 00:40, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
