I created this page but by a mistake I called it Uta_frith rather than Uta_Frith. How do I correct that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AFdeCH ( talk • contribs) 13:43, 31 October 2006
I tagged this article with {{ BLP sources}} because the statements in it are almost entirely justified by publications by Uta Frith herself (Urville has a forword by her). That's fine for stating bare facts, but statements like "She has pioneered much of the current research in autism" need to be supported by independent secondary sources (see the policy on verifiability). its true, she is one of the pioneers of autism. simon baron cohen and tony attwood were both trained by her while they were PHD students and this will show in their wikipedia pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.38.217.36 ( talk) 03:51, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
This edit cited MOS:CREDENTIAL. The guideline says this (emphasis added): "Post-nominal letters indicating academic degrees (including honorary degrees) should not be included following the subject's name in the first line ..." and the example given is this: "Stephen William Hawking CH CBE FRS FRSA (born 8 January 1942) ..." Thanks. Martinevans123 ( talk) 15:54, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
Presumably this is a condition for Damehood. But, if so, when did it happen? Martinevans123 ( talk) 16:44, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
References
Please can someone help me? When in 'read' mode the article for Uta Frith starts with reference 4 in the first line. Refs 1-3 are in the biography box and the refs at the end are correct. But when I change to 'edit' the first reference is number 1 even though refs 1-3 appear in the Biography box. Ref 1 therefore refers to two different refences in the same page. I am trying to update the article with improved references but cannot continue until the edit mode and the read mode match each other. I think the problem lies with savings or publishing something in the biography box. Your help would be appreciated. Many thanks. Mountain9 Mountain9 ( talk) 20:28, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
