"In early 2003, the Houston Metro area lost the bid for a Toyota manufacturing facility in response to the poor air quality in the region; San Antonio won the bid for a manufacturing facility. In return for Houston's loss in job creation, as if it was even reconcilable, Toyota decided to buy the naming rights for the downtown sports arena, believing that stuffing the pockets of local millionaires would make up for the loss of hundrends of decent-paying jobs in the metro Houston area." Um, I thought we were supposed to have a NEUTRAL POINT OF VIEW for god's sake!
The air quality issue where San Antonio ended up with a truck plant was mentioned by several candidates running for the Houston City Council in 2003.
Is every event that takes place at the Toyota Center going to be listed in this article? This seems unnecessary and not the least bit encyclopedic. -- AntarcticFox ( talk) 15:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Unless I hear from anyone else, I'm going to start deleting the non-notable events that are listed. Unless it is notable historically/newsworthy or the event has its own article like, Latin Grammy Awards of 2008, then it shouldn't be this article. -- Hourick ( talk) 17:13, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
The 2009 WWE HAll OF HAME will be held here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.23.45 ( talk) 02:11, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
