Clarify: Doesn't releasing & distributing a film, mean the same thing? GoodDay ( talk) 07:38, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
That is definitely not the reason why I removed those distributors. I removed them because WP:FILMDIST does not support having those distributors. In Template:Infobox Film#Additional parameter usage explanation, the Distributor section states: Using the same rationale as the release date, the distributor(s) should be restricted to the country or countries that produced the film and (if different) the country where the film is first released. If there are only two distributors in total (a domestic and foreign) then include both of them. As per the aforementioned policy, Warner Bros. and Entertainment Film Distributors can't go in the Distributor section in the infobox. The music section indicates that "I'll Always Come Back To You" plays during the course of the film when Clara dances with the Nutcracker. This isn't the case. Clara sings a song based on "Waltz of the Flowers" which sticks closer to Tchaikovsky's music than "I'll Always Come Back To You." The lyrics are also entirely different. (I'm unsure if it has an official title, I'm calling it "Save This Dance For You" based on a YouTube upload of the clip.)
"I'll Always Come Back To You" does use "Waltz of the Flowers" at the start, but then uses a largely original orchestration. Likely the use of the themes from "Waltz of the Flowers" is supposed to connect the two songs as there are no others in the film. 173.19.96.177 ( talk) 17:30, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
