I removed the phrase: As Wikipedia is governed by Florida law this case does not apply to it. Because although it is true, its completely irrelevant as Wikipedia isn't publishing the poem. Saul Taylor 05:36, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
I am not a lawyer, but it is possible that including external links to the text of the poem could be regarded as publishing it. I don't want people removing the external link(s) because they are concerned about legal action. As this is only one sentence I think we should err on the side of caution and include it. I'm sure there's no problem providing a link. The text of the poem cab be seen in a documentary on the "Monty Python's Life of Brian" DVD and since anyone with even the simplest of DVD players can pause and read the text, I reckon it's safe to link to it. Is it not possible to publish the text of the poem? 84.51.135.118 19:23, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
As blasphomy law has now been repealed, can the poem be put on wikipedia now? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mankytoes ( talk • contribs) 19:42, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Someone should make the link between Bowie's poem and this one. Reoccurring themes of sexuality.Mention of the trial of Oscar Wilde. Just a thought..... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Taylorzhai ( talk • contribs) 02:06, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
