Yes, there were 2 feeds. One produced by CBS and one by NFL Network. On CBS everything was OK. On NFL Network there was a delay. What does everyone think about the possibility of adding the teams' uniforms somewhere on the article? We could follow the Wikipedia soccer model. On every big soccer final there are uniforms of the two teams displayed somewhere (for example: 2009 UEFA Champions League Final and 2006 FIFA World Cup Final). I think the choice of uniforms are of historical importance and it would benefit the Super Bowl articles to have a small picture or representation of them somewhere. -- Tocino 20:36, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Anyway, the Dockers ad suggests you can get a free pair of pants by accessing the URL they gave. I had my wife access it at home and the ad is misleading. Apparently you can enter to win a pair of pants. So I believe the article should read and a Dockers ad to promote a chance to win a free pair of their pants instead of and a Dockers ad to promote a free pair of their pants. Access the site yourselves (dockers.com/freepants if memory serves) and look at it yourself; you can even use the URL as reference in the article.

According to the article: "A total of 14 players from the Super Bowl participants – seven each from the Colts and the Saints – did not play in the Pro Bowl."
I'm thinking that the combined number of players that didn't play in the Pro Bowl was closer to 90.
Perhaps this should be reworded as: "A total of 14 players from the Super Bowl participants – seven each from the Colts and the Saints – were selected to the Pro Bowl. Given the new schedule, they were unable to participate."
(And BTW, Hooray Saints!)

It currently states in the Records section: "Brees also tied the mark for most completions in a Super Bowl, with 32. Drew Brees then broke the record when he made a 33rd pass completion in the game on a two-point conversion pass to Lance Moore in the 4th quarter."
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that second sentence is wrong. Brees is listed elsewhere on the page as having 32 completions during the game, not 33. Also, if I understand correctly, 2-point conversion plays do not count towards a players box score total of rushes, passes, receptions, fumbles, interceptions, sacks, tackles, etc.... and probably ought to mention the controversial challenge and revision of the call
on the Lance Moore conversion attempt.

"Brees" misspelled in the scoring summary when referring to that 2-point conversion. —Preceding

SPECIFICALLY, I found:
(Drew Bress pass to Lance Moore)
which should be
(Drew Brees pass to Lance Moore)
I was going to suggest the successful challenge regarding such play, but that suggestion was made above. —Preceding

I'll be watching the game, so I'll fix these concerns and elaborate (if anything is needed) on the game summary. Of course, this will be in 3 hours.

Does it have to be necessary to mention Katrina in this article? (see Teams section) It's supposed to be about the superbowl, not Katrina.
In Argentina the Super Bowl was brodcasted by ESPN and Fox Sports. So anybody who can add it, please do it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.188.47.88 ( talk) 16:45, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
I watched the super bowl 44 pre game show on cbs, and saw performannces outside the stadium by Daughtry and Steve Winwood. I didn't know if you would consider adding them to the pre game performers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jas84173 ( talk • contribs) 18:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
I say why not add it? It is interesting and was part of the game festivities.--Cooly123 23:20, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
You should change the section to this..
Chris Daughtry, Steve Winwood and Queen Latifah performed during the Super Bowl pre-game tailgate party, which started at 2 p.m. Carrie Underwood sang the national anthem, and Queen Latifah performed "America the Beautiful."
Barenaked Ladies played the Super Bowl Saturday Night event with O.A.R. and Robert Randolph & The Family Band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jas84173 ( talk • contribs) 18:22, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
...That the Colts are 0-2 in Super Bowls when wearing blue jerseys? I call excessive statistics on this one. Grand master ka 21:48, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

The section in the fourth quarter where it said Breese made y throws, x of which were complete, Who would have known" yada yada yada. Shouldn't that be in a Postgame section?

In the article it says that NYC was going to be the original host, pending the completion of the new stadium. But on ESPN's NFL Countdown show the day of the game, they said the game was originally set for New Orleans, and was moved because of Katrina. So which is it? They opened up as 4-point favorite, but closed as 4.5...
