Project

The WikiProject Indianapolis Colts was formed on June 24, 2008 as a subproject of the NFL Project. Even though there is a lot of information about the NFL, there is so much more to do! This project is dedicated to expanding a certain part of the American football NFL, specifically its coverage of the Indianapolis Colts, including the history, records, statistics, players, coaches, and any other subject that is related to the franchise!

If you feel that you can help out in this project, please become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion area.

Goals

The project aims primarily to:

Create and expand the coverage of articles whose content is connected to the Indianapolis Colts organization.
Set up consistent structural and graphical layouts for displaying information on these articles.

Other goals include:

Bring as much content about the Colts to featured status.

Maintenance of the American football Portal.

Parentage

The Indianapolis Colts WikiProject was created as a team subproject of WikiProject National Football League and a child WikiProject of WikiProject Indianapolis on June 24 2008. The NFL Project's Parent Wikiproject is WikiProject Sports, while the Indianapolis Project's Parent WikiProject is WikiProject Indiana.

Categorize Colts-related pages

Label project-untagged pages by adding the {{ WikiProject Indianapolis Colts}} template banner to their talk page. Tagged pages are automatically listed under a namespace-specific category ( Category:WikiProject Indianapolis Colts ( RC's).)
Help assessing tagged pages by defining the quality parameters, on the template banner, such as the class (completeness status) and interest to the project.
