What about "sick him", a command to dogs? It was used in comics as early as c. 1880 [1], and the OED quotes a source from 1845. Apparently derives from "seek". — porg es( talk) 07:55, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
what about sick as in "ill" like, "that's ill" in hip-hop ?
It now is used to refer to something really cool. Sort of odd. Nonsensical. But a meaning none the less.

In British English 'sick' and 'to be sick' refers to vomit and the act of vomiting specifically, in addition to being ill / having a disease . I'm not sure if this has been omitted because it doesn't mean the same in US English? I've added this link to the disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.204.42.99 ( talk) 13:07, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
What about when people say "that's sick" meaning gross or discusting?-- Brian Earl Haines ( talk) 20:37, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
