Shouldn't this article have Sentoryu's full name just like any other sumo article?
XinJeisan 23:55, 25 June 2007 (UTC)reply
Yes, probably. The same is true of
Kotomitsuki. But in Sentoryu's case, maybe there's a case for calling the article Henry Armstrong Miller, as I believe that's what he uses now he's an MMA fighter: "Sentoryu" is just a nickname now. The article on Futahaguro is titled
Koji Kitao, for example.

Yep, it's logical to change to the name he is using now if he is still active in something else. And I see Sentoryu redirects here, so no sweat. Sentoryu may just "be a nickname" now, but that is true of all former rikishi, especially ones that become oyakata and get a new name (which is almost never used strangely enough).
No more Americans
An anon IP deleted this line without explanation: "There have been no Americans in professional sumo since Sentoryu." Who has there been then?

I guess they meant Daishoyu, aka Marvin Sano, who joined sumo in January 2006 and retired in September 2008. He was only half-American though, and was born in Tokyo. --
