This article is about a topic whose name is originally rendered in the
Japanese script; however the article does not have that version of its name in the article's lead paragraph. Anyone who is knowledgeable enough with the original language is invited to assist in adding the Japanese script. This article is in need of some tidying up.

The composition of this article is confusing. It contains stuff that should probably be their own articles - either that, or the article should be renamed so the topic is defined not as an individual, but as a line of karate/kempo. I'm not sure if Shigeru Nakamura was Odo's teacher or not, but Odo took over Nakamura's dojo - shouldn't Nakamura have his own article? Also, even if bogu kumite originated in this line of karate/kempo I think the term merits an article of its own. -- 83.178.230.237 ( talk) 11:39, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
I've been looking for WP:RS to add to this article. As written, there aren't really enough to establish WP:GNG. I've found plenty of blogs but RS are few and far between. I'm putting a few here for future use: The Dissident Aggressor 13:33, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
