This article really needs more biographical information about Spanner. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tchernobog ( talk • contribs) 05:39, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Why is Spanner's nationality skipped in the article? Didn't he have any? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.127.96.85 ( talk) 00:43, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

The Polish version of the article cites the results of the investigation by INR as a confirmation that human soap was produced (albeit in small quantities), this version focuses on the alternative theory. Both articles could complement one another. Also, the fact that Spanner was a Nobel-worthy physician is a bad argument against his involvement in scientifically worthless experiments. It wouldn't be the first "great man" to feel they can do as they please with impunity. 89.64.14.110 ( talk) 22:27, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Nothing criminal is related to Spanners "human soap", which is why he was declared innocent of all accusations and is considered as such by the Polish state Absolutely false: [1] In Kulesza's opinion, Spanner's activities constitute "one of the darkest pages in the Second World War." He emphasized, however, that—were Spanner alive—it would not be possible to bring charges against him for Nazi crimes, but only, at most, for removing evidence of such crimes by destroying corpses. -- MyMoloboaccount ( talk) 18:19, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
So when it comes to Spanner’s activities, the authorities have just washed their hands? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.136.172 ( talk) 07:18, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
