I'd like to get some thoughts on this image (the lead image). What makes it PD-US? It would be a bit of a bummer to lose it. Aptery gial 06:48, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
While on the subject of images, this one also looks a bit dodgy. Uploader claims to hold copyright and releases to Public Domain, but the photographer is listed as 'unknown'. Thoughts? AlexJ ( talk) 19:49, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
More random stuff, nothing major:

There are some discrepancies about the age at which he received his driver's license. The German Wikipedia entry cites "special circumstances" which allowed him to obtain a license at the age of 15. The official city of Remagen website lists his age at either 15 [1] or 16 [2]. Does anyone have some verifiable details? Mabuse ( talk) 03:19, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
