A list of notable recipients of the honour would be interesting. Drutt ( talk) 21:56, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
I have amended the list of named individuals to include their titles first. It used to be presented like this here a few years ago and I think it helps to see examples of the different suffixes Rao, Rai and Sardar Bahadur. Plus some of these named individuals I had myself researched and added, following the requirement to only include personages who have a Wiki article about them. I was surprised to see some these had been removed, with no explanation that I could see as to why. So I have re-added them. If there is a reason why these people were removed, please feel free to explain below. Mystichumwipe ( talk) 19:31, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
I would like to add the name to the list of Rao Bahadur title, of my grand father Kashinath Krushnaji Kalkar and then became Deputy Collector during British Raj Vilas Kalkar ( talk) 15:54, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
I’ve the medals with me, would that be sufficient if I scan and send across Vilas Kalkar ( talk) 16:57, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
