I agree that the term "Provo" should be a disambiguation page. A quick search by "Provo" on google [1] will show that Provo as a US city of 200,000 people is the general usage, and that Provo as a minimally historical movement within the IRA is regional slang at best. The page for Provo should be a disambiguation page, referring to both. Leaving it as it stands is like taking "New York" and writing an article solely about the newest part of Yorkshire! In my opinion, this probably should link directly to Provo, Utah (even though it actually has closer to 100,000 residents). Provo is a fairly well known city, being the location of Brigham Young University, and it is probable that most people who have heard of the term "Provo" only know of it in the context of that city.—Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
Another article on the same subject, by User:Jvd, has cropped up at Provos. I've turned it into a redirect. The article's English is confusing, but there are a few sentences that might be worth adding to this article, if anyone knowledgeable knows what they're getting at. They are:
— Triskaideka 06:00, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
"Terwijl hun ouders op ijskasten en wasmachines gezeten met hun linkeroog naar de teevee keken en met hun rechternaar de auto voor de deur, een mixer in hun ene hand, De Telegraaf in de andere, begaven de kinderen zich 's zaterdagsavond naar het Spui."

This article has large sections seemingly copied and pasted from the site: http://pdxnorml.org/HT_provos_0190.html
Looking at the top of the site, it seems to be from a 1990 issue of the magazine High Times. I don't see any source mentioned on the page, too. Is this fair use? -- Shane Drury 13:10, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
No, it's not fair use. Fair use doesn't allow complete standing reprints, only small reprints which are properly sourced. Mrcolj 20:14, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

For that reason, it should probably refer to the city.
The article refers to him as an "anti-smoking activist". I don't think so. Here he appears to be smoking himself to death. Marshall46 ( talk) 08:48, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
