Science references

Could we have some references to scientific journals instead of generic newspapers? 188.100.205.226 ( talk) 00:48, 29 October 2009 (UTC) reply

I haven't been following this all that closely, but I don't think it *has* been published scientifically yet. J. Spencer ( talk) 22:50, 29 October 2009 (UTC) reply

This page say "All the scientific results will be published in a full scientific paper later this year.". But I can't find any scientific paper. This year will be finished soon......-- 130.199.3.140 ( talk) 02:14, 7 December 2009 (UTC) reply
It could be the December issue of the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, I suppose. J. Spencer ( talk) 23:50, 7 December 2009 (UTC) reply

Scientific Name

Has this species been given a scientific name yet? it's been a few years... are they still investigating this beast? -- 71.0.116.132 ( talk) 00:48, 8 May 2010 (UTC) reply

Not yet. No formal paper has been issued yet from the discovery team. It may be they are being very careful to make sure this is not a very large specimen of an already identified taxon. HammerFilmFan ( talk) 22:34, 19 October 2011 (UTC) reply
It's fortcomming. It will be published in the Norwegian Journal of Geology, likely in a double issue in October this year. Petter Bøckman ( talk) 10:56, 9 May 2012 (UTC) reply
