About the name
Is it the Open Media Layer or the Open Media Library? Edits don't seem to agree. The OpenML websites linked to don't seem to say anywhere. If it's in agreement with
OpenGL it probably stands for "library", but crazier things have been conceived of.

About the API
The general description and article leaves a lot to be desired. What software uses it, what is the scope of OpenML. Does it exist primarily to stream content across devices or to keep content synced with input? What makes it different from other api's? I read the article and while it may be obvious to someone with a bit of experience or exposure to it I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm going to google this and get more info of course, but I feel that this article is missing many details. I read the OpenGL, OpenCL, and OpenAL pages and have a proper understanding of what they're for, why they exist and how their implemented (generally speaking). I could not truly use this page as a primary source for research or even as a good start for undertanding OpenML aside from the fact that it exists.
