The USDA database is simply a summary of available information abstracted from published sources. Very high D2 concentrations have been independently documented in many different mushrooms, and published in peer-reviewed papers. The USDA database simply has not yet incorporated these new data.

20 IU/100g is within the range listed in the table for mushrooms which haven't been exposed to UV.-- Oolong ( talk) 22:13, 19 September 2010 (UTC) reply
