When the CVG stub categories were being discussed, we wanted to keep the genres fairly non-specific. Since fighting games tend to have things like rounds and are somewhat based on matches also seen in martial arts sports events, we felt sports seemed most appropriate for them.
However, since then an "action" genre has been added too, which might work better, or if you think there will be enough fighting game stubs to warrent their own stub category, feel free to propose it. -- ADeveria 12:37, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
