Piotrus, in case you didn't notice Venclova Mikalojus Daukša, and only Polish interpreter adds Polonised version of his name.-- Lokyz 08:46, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
"He has translated the preface from Polish translation of the original text by Spanish Jesuit theologist Jacob Ledesma. " I am sorry but I do not understand. Is he supposed to have translated only the preface? - my source says otherwise. Also, it seems clear he translated from Polish, but did Spanish jesuit write in Polish? Note that I found another source which also dodges the issues about Ledesma writing in Polish and about Dauksa translating everything: [1]
As for the preface to Apostillia, I am sorry to have to confess that it did not take me to look through all the googled texts on Dauksa to find that out. It was already in the Russian article, so I only needed to source it...-- Paul Pieniezny 10:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
