Seems like the fair use image was deleted so we need a new one. — Tokek 05:57, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Some users are confused about Asada's "signature move", the cross-grab Biellmann. Asada does perform the move during her spiral sequence, and not in her layback spins. The one she executes in her spins are just a regular Biellmann, but done with just one hand (right hand on the right leg). The one she does in her spiral sequence is the true cross-grab Biellman, because it is done with her left hand on her right leg.
You can verify what a cross-grab Biellmann is by going to the Biellmann article. There it mentions "A variation where the opposite hand is the one used to lift the leg is called a cross-grab Biellmann. The other hand may or may not be added in this position." — Solanus 10:28, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm Japanese. It is not good at English and acknowledge it, please. She is not "First woman to land a triple Axel in the short program". Because it is in Midori Ito to jump for the first time at short program('91 NHK Trophy). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.224.135.187 ( talk) 21:02, 16 February 2007 (UTC).
I've edited the Exhibition music, since Chopin doesn't have in his repertoire anything with the name "So Deep Is The Night". Instead he has "Étude Op.10 No.3 in E major, (Tristesse)", which is with the addition of the vocal of Lesley Garrett forms the song "So Deep Is The Night". ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lesley-Garrett-So-Deep-Night/dp/B0000E3HLX). Thus: "Étude Op.10 No.3 in E major, (Tristesse)" - Frederic Chopin; vocal - Lesley Garrett.
Excuse me my English. -- Catcherr 00:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
What does Asada mean in Japanese? What are it's origins? (This is random, I'm just wondering) Alex ( talk) 22:31, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Unless there is confirmation from a reputable source that Asada has left Tarasova, I don't think it's appropriate to list the latter under "Former Coaches". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.247.102.93 ( talk) 13:40, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Me and Tabercil had a small discussion about a head image in the article (depicting Mao Asada's press conference). Working on File:Mao Asada 2010 OP Press conference adjusted.jpg, I washed out the background, which should actually be vibrant green. I feel that the background color doesn't matter because noone cares about it, but Tabercil said such color changes make the image unfaithful. So, he created File:Mao Asada 2010 OP Press conference exp.jpg. Of course, it matters little which of two pictures would appear in the article, but we decided to ask for other users' opinion to be sure and to avoid any dispute. If you agree with Tabercil, then I will delete the "washed out" version. -- deerstop. 09:56, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
good day! This is about mao asada 2011-2012 season, it was written that her carrer in 2011-2012 that her free skate in gp nhk trophy 2011 is 85.45, and in her detailed result is 125.77.
I would like to request to please correct the one written in her carrer. That would be asada gathered 125.77 points in free skate not 85.45 point.
Thank you very much.

I'm of the opinion that the triple axel jump table does not belong in an encyclopedia. This is like listing all the home runs for a baseball player or slam dunks for basketball player. Listing every event an athlete performed a specific move isn't encyclopedic. Ping Morrichelle: if I remeber correctly, you were the editor who worked hard to create this table. Ping NeilN: this is similar to various discussion on Kim Yuna page. Quering for thoughts; if I don't hear anything in the next couple days, I'll go forward with bold edit. Thanks, Kirin13 ( talk) 00:15, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
