We only got one or two people in Greece who can be characterised as Master composers and Hadjidakis is one of them... It's "Music scores", not "Filmography"... Jeesh! I fully expect fire to be cast down from heavens, now that i'm gonna go out for a bottle of coke and some chow in the souvlaki-place next door... (And it's gonna be all your fault!) :) -- Project2501a 21:30, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
What is the problem with this Pinikas guy, who continuously erases the caterorisation of Hadjidakis as "gay musician"? It is widely known that Hadjidakis was openly gay, some of his closest friends and associates have said it( Theodorakis, Gatsos, Serafeim Fydanidis, Michael Kamen and others) and NOONE of his associates has said the opposite.
I think to refer to him as a "gay musician" is anywhere between misleading, wrong and sexist. He was a musician who happened to be gay, not a "gay musician", as if this can be another kind of musician. Since his personal life, at the level of an encyclopedia article, is not relevant to his artistic merit, there is no reason to mention it here, let alone to stress it. If and when there is a deeper analysis of his work, that may refer to what inspired or motivated him, this may be relevant to mention. But, in all fairness, we would not expect to see an article on Theodorakis, referring to him as a "straight musician", or making much use of his sexuality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.66.200.1 ( talk) 18:43, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
Took out the "He was much better than Miki Theodorakis" sentence. It was subjective, opinionated and greatly lowered the quality of the page. -- Xenophonos 21:33, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Here it says that he latinized his name Hatzidakis, not Hadzidakis or Hadjidakis. Same on IMDb. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.162.1.232 ( talk) 00:22, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Surely an footnote is needed for why the song is "Never on Sunday" in English, but the Greek title (as correctly given in the article) is "The Children of Patris"? 155.101.254.50 ( talk) 00:33, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
I noticed that there are some problems with the licence of the photos in the article (there are not free). I created an oil painting and donated its picture at the commons [2]. Could we use it insteed of the "old" ones? ( Meneksedia ( talk) 13:04, 18 November 2011 (UTC))
