haramachi power station, location

The Location of Haramachi Power Station is listed as the same as Fukushima 1. There is something at 37-28-47.98? ( Martin | talkcontribs 00:44, 13 April 2011 (UTC)) reply

Tōkai Nuclear Power Plant

According to the wikipedia page on this plant, it is not operational, but this page states that it is. Which is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.35.217 ( talk) 22:32, 10 July 2013 (UTC) reply

Summit Wind Power Sakata

I am going to change the location of this power station to 'Onshore' from 'Offshore', as the turbines are located on the sea shore, not off the coast. 202.248.41.90 ( talk) 00:54, 15 October 2014 (UTC) reply

Wind capacity

Total wind capacity as listed in this article is 664 MW (439 turbines). However according to Energy_in_Japan#Wind_energy total capacity is 2440 MW (1,807 turbines as of September 2011). Is the latter figure correct?

To give an idea of the scale of this Denmark's installed capacity is 4792, see Wind_power_in_Denmark#Capacities_and_production. It seems unlikely that Japan's wind capacity should be that high when there are no large wind farms. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Klein zach 07:58, 24 January 2015 (UTC) reply

Japan wind capacity was about 2670 MW in 2013, according to IEA ( [1] [2]). Keep in mind that Japan is much bigger than Denmark and the lists in this article are very incomplete, especially for renewables (just look at the solar PV list). -- Ita140188 ( talk) 03:54, 3 June 2015 (UTC) reply
