Without setting up special antennas or tuners, viewers can only watch VHF stations, and not UHFs. (The distinction between VHF/UHF may become blurred in other parts of Japan, however.)

I don't believe that the use of such time designations as "25:30" and "26:00" (for 1.30, 2.00 on the following morning) is unique to Late-night anime broadcasts. It would appear to be commonplace in Japan for "overnight" times: e.g. "Bar open 18:00 to 26:00". -- Picapica ( talk) 17:48, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
