Occasional sexagenary dates are included in Gukanshō and in Jinnō Shōtōki; but I had not previously included this information in nengō articles. If this could be a plausibly useful as addition here and elsewhere, it would easy to incorporate such alternate dating in future. The following text demonstrates one way of handling sexagenary dates. Perhaps it would be just as well to include this information as a mere footnote? Does anyone have any thoughts, comments, suggestions ...? Are there other format considerations ...?
Personally, I'm not much interested in the sexagenary calendar -- at least not today; but I reckon this might have some possible cumulative value for someone else. -- Ooperhoofd 18:58, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
