In 1974 there was an incident regarding Dr. Levy, in which Dr. Rhine made a announcement. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,944971,00.html This article contains the details. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.104.226.233 ( talk) 19:46, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
You have to buy a subscription to Time magazine to read this article. The teaser-introduction states that "Last week a shaken Rhine was preparing to acknowledge publicly a scandal that has already rocked the entire psychic establishment." The article is dated August 20, 1974. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nevillemacl ( talk • contribs) 01:49, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
The section on criticisms seems very poorly informed. Are no readers aware of the horror Rhine experienced when he discovered the cheating of Levy? This is a well-documented case and seems quite inconsistent with the implications of what is written in the section headed "Criticisms". There certainly have been criticisms of Rhine - from those who consider Zener cards too dry, or who long for parapsychology to get ready for "The Big Stuff", but I would like to see more informed section.
