I'm not terribly interested in starting a new Wiki page because I have next to no information about it, but I do know that The Mad Monk was a bar in Wilmington, NC long before this movie was ever made. In fact, it burned down before this movie was ever made. Probably not what you'd call a famous landmark in the scope of world affairs, but Foghat played there once. Probably others - but I don't remember.
