Is it bad for you if you eat raw jelly that comes in packets without diluting it?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.92.168.175 ( talk • contribs) .
This article is a mess. It's not a proper disambiguation page, but it covers lots of different types of jelly, including some that aren't foods (despite what the bit at the top says).... and ones that are foods, but are still fundamentally different things (e.g. Jello vs. Royal Jelly).
There are three disambiguation lines in two different places, and the gelatin dessert article covers the same ground as this (more general) article is apparently trying to.
In addition, it doesn't seem to cover any of the various areas particularly well (e.g. the gelatin dessert section, again).
Any suggestions before I turn this thing into a proper disambig page?

Why does this article mention mayhaw jelly as an exception to the U.S. usage? In my experience, mayhaw jelly isn't a dessert any more than grape jelly is. Kafziel 20:22, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Whomever wrote this section sounds like a square. "So it cannot be spilled and consumed quickly"? Wtf? I'm not sure that the boys around the frat are concerned if their countertops get a little sticky. I demand the author consume three shot immediately.
I have add grass jelly behind seaweed, I am not sure that name are correctly but more correctly are leaf jelly = a jelly made by leaf, but there discusion and arguing in grass jelly talk so right now i used temporary that name grass jelly in this area until final discusion be done.

I see the discussion and explanation for merging articles. What I don't see is why this redirect targets [[ Jelly (disambiguation)]]. To me, [[ Fruit preserves#Jelly]] (like [[ Jelly (fruit preserves)]]) makes far more sense. — Randall Bart (talk) 17:50, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Milk-maid ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has made a series of moves with these articles undoing the results of the discussion at Talk:Gelatin dessert#Merge request. It is her opinion that they should reverted to the original articles using only Commonwealth English references and naming. When the discussion and its results were pointed out to she dismissed it and moved them anyway.
Please keep an eye on these articles to prevent her from doing so again.

I believe we should semiprotect this page and allow only registered users to edit. Lately it seems several IPs have decided this is a page to vandalize for no reason. -- Arthurbrown ( talk) 08:36, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Some old page history that used to be at the title jelly is now at Talk:Jelly/Old history. Graham 87 09:49, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I think it's worth mentioning the non pearl 'toppings' in bubble tea are called jelly. This ought to be added and redirected to bubble tea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flamespear ( talk • contribs) 22:56, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
