Who decides who is notable here? I added someone whose influence is quite widespread and is well-noted in education circles, even if not by the person who removed this.

I clicked on the link at the bottom, the one to the page about Terra (mythology) and it took me to a page about Gaia (mythology). Should this link point to Terra and not Gaia? (The Gaia page says the Roman equivalent is Terra, but of course the page is about Gaia.) I went ahead and changed the link to point to Terra, and after reading the Terra article, it mentions the January 26 date, so I assume that Terra is the correct page (and not Gaia). As with other dates, I have been removing entries for people who have few or no articles in other language wikipedias and thus not internationally well known. This makes the section more manageable. Where possible, those that have been removed have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. See Days of Year Project talk pages, where discussion is taking place as to how best to separate births and deaths sections from these articles. Deb ( talk) 12:40, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
