Hello everybody,
the last two links do not work —Preceding unsigned comment added by Erkan Yilmaz ( talk • contribs) 23:50, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
it says: "The International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) replaced the existing Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Foundation Exam " I mean: how can an organization replace an exam? more probably the author meant the ISTQB Foundation Level exam replaced... -- Erkan Yilmaz 12:43, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
The text of the Controversy section refers to multiple domain experts, but only gives one link - to James Bach's blog, embodying his long-expressed dislike of any kind of formal qualification. His opinions may or may not be typical, but that link is HIGHLY POV. ExpatSalopian ( talk) 02:51, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Rather than just a dump of links could we have some text please? (This is mainly aimed at Keith). If I'm not busy at the weekend, or later, I'll add something myself. I'm adding this here as Keith obviously has a more eloquent way of putting this than me, so it seems worthwhile him adding it. Jtowler ( talk) 06:09, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Does the CT in the different qualifications stands for Certified tester? If so I'd like to update it to say so :) 94.159.132.229 ( talk) 14:22, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi Walter,
Yes, I would like to apply those changes that I introduced. In fact, this was the first of few changes so maybe the sandbox is also a good idea. But for sure we should remove levels from specialists ASAP.
