I have created this page to reflect the need for part of the content of the
intellectual history page. That page contains two sets of information, one about the methodology of the discipline of intellectual history, and then it contains scattered remarks surveying the history of thought across the world. The article needed to be cleaned up in two respects: (1) by expanding and improving the explanation of the discipline and (2) by expanding the parts on the history of global thought.
