A photograph of the northwest corner of Eighth Avenue and 23rd Street as it is today would make a telling addition: caption: Urban renewal: the site of Pike's Opera House -- Wetman ( talk) 10:12, 8 April 2009 (UTC) reply

The current illustration (at right) may not show this theater. It is midblock, on the west side of an avenue with an elevated line, and not on a corner.-- Wetman ( talk) 04:53, 13 October 2010 (UTC) reply
That theater appears to be Thalia Theater by the title at the top of it. The transit along Eighth Avenue (disambiguation) does not include an elevated line, only streetcars and the current IND subway. 67.84.27.8 ( talk) 12:50, 3 May 2012 (UTC) reply

Name of article

Shouldn't this article be called Grand Opera House (Manhattan)? It was only Pike's for one season, but Grand for many years. It is much better known as Grand. Vzeebjtf ( talk) 11:51, 29 September 2015 (UTC) Vzeebjtf ( talk) 18:11, 29 September 2015 (UTC) reply
