What is the evidence that his death was "AIDS-related" and not simply the result of his having suffered a stroke, which is the third leading cause of death in the U.S.? If a person diagnosed "HIV-positive" dies in a traffic accident, will you also put their article in the category "AIDS-related deaths" whatever the actual cause of death, just because of the "HIV-positive" diagnosis? 213.37.6.106 18:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
For World AIDS Day 2015, Queerty has run a long biography of Gene Anthony Ray, that would definitely be a good source for expanding this article:

The article links to a Telegraph obit that claimed he was sacked from ‘Fame’ in 1984 but IMDb lists him as continuing in the series until its end in 1987? Fosterpann ( talk) 18:37, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
