Pics or GTFO

I think it would be important for the article to have a few photographs of geek girls; text only goes so far when talking about somthing that often comes with such heavy aesthetic preconceptions like the expression "geek girl".

Would it be offensive and unwarranted to label random girls as geek girls, as geek used to be pejorative and use their picture without permission? "Geekgirl" is a trademark in Australia, in spite of it being a popular appellation in the public domain for several years beforehand (Usenet's poetry newsgroups..)
