Dr Harold Rathbun organized the Sequoia Seminars (1960 or somewaht before), which influenced the founders of the Esalen Institute (E.I.). There's a connection with Gerald Heard, a philosopher,author and renowned lecturer.
Aldous Huxley, a friend of Heard's and much influenced by him, was involved early on with E.I. The shared interest among all these persons was "human potentials", a new term at the time. 162.245.240.162 ( talk) 20:11, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
The book is questionable. The book does not cite any sources in the actual text, and there is no bibliography of the basic sources that were used.
