Bonner, Michael (2020). The Last Empire of Iran. - "But the Armenian historians Lazar and Elishe"
Zoroastrianism in Armenia (1987) "As a possible analogy one might adduce the names of the Arm. province of Siwnik (Pawstos Biwzand, Elishe, Lazar Parpeci)"
Sasanian Persia: The Rise and Fall of an Empire (2014) "Also such Armenian sources as Ełishe"
Comment: It's not enough for there to be examples of the use of the proposed title. What evidence is there that this usage is more common than the existing title?

Well the search engine hits is a tricky one, considering he seems to have a regular Armenian name, and thus it may include other figures as well, no? Not sure I did it correctly, but when I wrote 'Elishe Armenian historian' I got 8.150.000 results and 'Yeghishe Armenian historian' -> 97.800 results. --
