Someone changed the word "species" to "sub-species" a while back. I changed it back because - please note - Eastern Freshwater Cod are FULLY SEPARATE species of Maccullochella cod, NOT a sub-species.

Hi Codman! While that 1935 article is interesting and good info, it seems a little excessive to quote the complete thing here - that's an entire screen worth of (small-type) quotation, while the original is directly accessible via the link provided. I would like to reduce that somewhat to a one-paragraph summary (possibly with a short quote) and the link. Whatcha think?-- Elmidae ( talk) 08:28, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
