I added this news and the arrest. -- Juanatoledo 08:53, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Trying to determine if some of the copy here is copyvio ( some prose in question). There are lots of hits for very similar phrases. Of note is this. Any insight is appreciated. ./zro (⠠⠵) 02:05, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
I am hesitant to add any references to Twombly's homosexuality, but it seems a bit inconsistent to discuss Twombly's romantic involvement with Robert Rauschenberg on the Rauschenberg page and completely ignore it here, particularly because the two artists became sexually involved before Rauscenberg's divorce. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.124.89.116 ( talk) 21:16, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Any photographs of him In flagrante delicto? Any public statements by Twombly regarding this topic? Any reliable witnesses? Just another baseless Wikipedia innuendo? 98.110.67.68 ( talk) 22:40, 12 June 2014 (UTC)The Honourable Ronald Adair
Does anyone have info about the idiosyncratic family name "Twombly" -- especially where it comes from? Thanks, Maikel ( talk) 15:40, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
And can somebody who knows please add to the page how to pronounce it? "Two" like "tomb"? So like "womb" or like "Womble"? The last part like "crumbly"? "b" silent or pronounced? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.113.106.24 ( talk) 20:11, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Last night I happened to watch the video documenting the auction sale of November 12, 2014 at Christie's. I thought it was interesting enough to be added as a footnote link to the reference of that record sale in the Art Market paragraph. Thus, because, to my mind, watching it you get the distinct impression that people who attended that auction felt they were witnessing something special (maybe even somewhat unexpected). Unfortunately, my modest editing was swiftly undo, and without any comment. So, instead of starting some sort of editing battle, I shall post the link here, so others could consider whether it can be added back as a footnote link to the main article. There's no source for the claim Twombly graduated from Lexington High School. I was able to find one, but didn't add it, because it doesn't make sense to me that he only then attended the Darlington School, which is a k-12 college prep school. I think it's an unusual enough claim to require some clarification. 96.38.160.52 ( talk) 16:36, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
