WP:SMALLDETAILS says "When such navigation aids are in place, small details are usually sufficient to distinguish topics". "Curtain" is distinguished from the two films "Curtains" by the small detail of not being plural, not by the addition of a date disambiguator.

Oppose per what
WP:SMALLDETAILS used to say and should say. Clearly not beneficial to any readers to remove 1920.

Support per nom and note that the opposes citing
WP:SMALLDETAILS don't make sense (SMALLDETAILS says nothing upon which to base an opposition to this proposal), and the "not beneficial to any readers" argument is not based in policy, guidelines, or conventions, much less reality. It is beneficial to users that we title our articles according to a consistent set of principles, and that's all this proposal is about. The current title incorrectly implies that there is at least one other film named Curtain. No one benefits from such disinformation. --
